The American Heart Association  has an excellent opportunity available for a Data Quality Coordinator for our National Center Office.  This Position is remote.

 

In this role, you will be responsible for performing data quality management to accurately modify, monitor, and generate customer records and data in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems within established timeframes, using entry guidelines, and meeting entry benchmarks.

Responsibilities

 

  • Identify inconsistent data definitions, missing data, and duplications in the various databases from reports or dashboard reviews. Work with appropriate team members to identify issues and recommend correction processes to prevent future inconsistencies and missing/duplicate data.
  • Regularly review donor records. Report incorrectly categorized donations to the appropriate region and national contacts. Identify and follow correction procedures.
  • Merge duplicate data streams. Contact and correct with appropriate department, team or internal record keeping.
  • Audit listings of donor accounts and contacts. Work with staff to identify needed changes to contact data, donor records, Association volunteer assignments, etc. Input all changes as needed.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Two (2) years of experience with comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, record keeping and data entry processes
  • Strong customer service, data management, and communication skills
  • The ability to pay close attention to detail

Preferred Experience:

  • One (1) year of experience with Customer Relationship Management or similar customer database applications
  • Good communication skills and initiates collaborating closely with staff
  • Two (2) years of experience in data quality or auditing
  • A working knowledge of how events are managed and financial coding
  • Someone who enjoys a challenge in solving an issue, but is also okay with some repetitive work
  • Can work remotely and manage time and priorities

Compensation & Benefits

The expected pay for this position is $25/Hr. Pay is commensurate with experience; geographic differentials to the pay range may apply. The American Heart Association reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range.
