PERMANENT LABOR CERTIFICATION PROGRAM
Data Modeler, Archer Daniels Midland Company, Decatur, IL.
Accountable for the development of logical and physical data models across all enterprise data platforms. Govern the expansion of existing data architecture and the optimization of data query performance via best practices. Implement business and IT data requirements through new data strategies and designs across all data platforms (relational, dimensional, and NoSQL). Work with solution teams and Data Architects to implement data strategies, build data flows, and develop logical/physical data models. Work with Data Architects to define and govern data modeling and design standards, tools, best practices, and related development for enterprise data models. Work proactively and independently to address project requirements and articulate issues/challenges to reduce project delivery risks.
40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Salary: $144,810.00 - $154,810.00/yr.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, Business Analytics or a related technical field, and five (5) years of post-baccalaureate, progressive related work experience.
Must have five (5) years of experience with/in:
- Relational, dimensional, and/or analytic experience using RDBMS, dimensional, NoSQL data platform technologies, and ETL and data ingestion protocols;
- Data warehouse, Data Lake and enterprise big data platforms;
- Agile delivery methodology and/or Scrum Environment;
- Creation of Conceptual and Logical models using the Erwin data modeler;
- Generation of DDLs for DEV, QA, PROD, and COB environments;
- Performing reverse engineering of physical data models from databases and SQL scripts; and
- Standards for logical and physical model development.
Up to 10% domestic travel required.
100% telecommuting permitted.

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.
If hired, employees will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base pay (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
The pay range for this position is expected to be between:
$144,810.00 - $154,810.00/yr.
