Data Labeling Specialist

Our unsupervised learning software can train neural networks without the need for human annotation or simulation and is hardware-agnostic. We work with some of the world's largest automotive manufacturers and we've raised over $100M from Honda, Goodyear Ventures, Mando, and others to help us scale.

We are looking for a detail-oriented self-starter to work as a Data Labeling Specialist. You’ll review and label large bodies of data while ensuring the quality of data sets and providing insights that improve process efficiency. We’re looking for someone passionate about the company's mission to develop safe, reliable algorithmic solutions for autonomous navigation — guiding technologies from robots to vehicles. You have meticulous attention to detail, a strong work ethic, a high level of focus, technical aptitude, and excellent communication skills.

You Will:

• Label relevant objects and segments in images using our labeling software.
• Watch various driving scenario videos and provide tagging information such as road, weather, and lighting conditions.
• Work with the rest of the team to ensure the quality of data sets.
• Manage remote labeling teams via Slack or Google Meet.
• Interact with Research and Development personnel to communicate findings about perception system performance.

You Have:

• Background working in the AV industry.
• 3+ years of experience in data annotation and labeling of videos and images.
• 1+ years of experience in reviewing labels and providing feedback to the Annotation teams to ensure the highest label quality.
• A high level of attention to detail and good work ethic; ability to remain focused on repetitive tasks.
• Knowledge of using spreadsheets and Google Docs.
• Strong verbal and written communication.

Nice to Have: 

• SQL scripting knowledge.

Assignment Length: Contract-to-hire 

Pay Range: $20 - $25 per hour
