The Department of the Air Force (DAF) is in the midst of a wholescale transformation effort aimed at delivering a force that is ready to meet the challenges of the 21st century. DAF is transforming elements of all phases of its human resource management (HRM) life cycle to meet their people demands. 

 

ManTech will ensure that the DAF’s business processes and supporting information technology platforms fully empower DAF personnel and Guardians to maximize their abilities. Your work on the DTD team will help transform data and enterprise architectures, consolidate and modernize platforms, and integrate AI into human capital business processes. 

 

Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Data Governance SME- Data Migrations to join our team. 

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:  

  • The Data Governance SME supports the Chief Data Officer and Data Solutions team at a Federal Agency as a Data Governance and Policy Analyst  

  • Provides knowledge and experience relevant in Data solutions domain and applies the knowledge to the development of policies, plans, strategies; assists in implementing such functions; and monitors and evaluates progress and outcomes of these actions  

  • Applies knowledge of the subject matter to analyze and solve problems in areas, facilitate engagements and collaboration, and ensure effective and efficient operations  

  • Analyzes other related factors of programs information technology data solutions, human resources, research and analysis, or other program support  

  • Assists in leading and participates in processing business requirements including but not limited to, analysis, evaluation, and implementation of systems or processes  

  • Creates plans, designs, and conduct studies including risk analyses, contingency planning, and feasibility studies  

  • Creates program work products such as policies, procedures, strategies, reports, correspondence, presentations, plans, and spreadsheets  

 

Minimum Qualifications:  

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Engineering, Mathematics, or Business 

  • 5+ years of experience with data governance  

  • 4+ years of experience with data governance policy analysis  

  • 2+ years of experience in data governance policy development  

  • 2+ years of experience in processing business requirements  

  • Security + Certification required

 

Clearance Requirements: 

  • Must have a current/ active Secret Clearance

  • Must be a US Citizen

Physical Requirements:  

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time with occasional travel. 

The projected compensation range for this position is $90,200-$149,600. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories. In addition, ManTech invests in it’s employees beyond just compensation.
