The Role at High Level: We’re looking for a talented Data Entry Clerk who is detail-oriented and reliable, with a knack for managing large volumes of information. You’ll be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely entry of data into our systems. Your work will play a critical role in the success of our Sales and Onboarding teams as they deliver seamless experiences for our small business customers.
Note this role is part time with a minimum of 20 hours/week.
What You'll Be Expected To Own:
- Accurate Data Entry: Ensure precise and efficient entry of payroll and accounting data, following company procedures.
- Data Verification: Compare data entries with source documents and update records as needed to maintain accuracy.
- Record Organization: Maintain and organize digital files for easy access and compliance with standards.
- Routine Data Audits: Conduct regular audits to identify and resolve data inconsistencies.
- Data Cleaning Support: Assist in cleaning data by removing duplicates and correcting inaccuracies.
- Report Preparation: Generate and process reports with accurate and complete information.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate and coordinate with team members to resolve data issues and ensure seamless integration.
What You Bring To The Table:
- High school diploma or equivalent (some post-secondary education preferred).
- Proven experience in data entry or administrative roles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- You have experience with database management or system integration.
- You are comfortable with automating repetitive tasks using tools like macros or scripts.
- Familiarity with payroll systems or financial software is a plus.
