Our Digital Modernization and Experience (DMX) Group is growing, and we are looking for a talented, highly motivated Data Engineer to join ICFâs Digital Modernization Division. ICF is seeking a highly motivated Data Engineer to support digital solutions for various Federal clients.âŻ
The Data Engineer will support our projects by collaborating and working with a cross-functional team to deliver quality, innovative, and highly scalable applications to end clients. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working with cross-disciplinary teams.Â

What will you be doing?Â
Lead and develop data engineering design and build efforts for our client initiative, working as part of an extended system development team on project executionÂ
Develop extract, transform, and load (ETL) processing routines and data engineering pipelines, creating necessary data structures and data models to support data at all stagesÂ
Perform extensive data profiling and analysis based on client dataÂ
Work with UI, UX and business analysis team members and the client to define data and reporting requirementsÂ
Design and implement custom data analytic and BI/reporting products, custom reports, and data visualization productsÂ
Work closely with the client to understand and address their needs, ensuring seamless communication and deliveryÂ

What you must have:Â
Bachelorâs degree (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline) â
Due to government requirements, candidate must be a U.S. citizen or green card holder
6+ years of hands-on experience specifically in AWS and Big Data technologies such as S3, Lambda, DMS, Glue, DataBrew, Athena, Python, R-Studio, SageMaker, Eventbridge, LakeFormation, DMS, Redshift, RDS, ECS, etc.Â
5+ years of experience developing ETL, and data engineering pipelines using AWS services, PythonÂ
5+ years of experience in writing complex SQLs, performance tuning queriesÂ
5+ years of experience with data modeling, creating ER diagrams, data lake, âŚ
