Are you passionate about transforming raw data into powerful insights? Trissential is looking for a Data Engineer – BigQuery and Tableau to join our client’s remote team. You’ll take the lead on a critical project focused on BigQuery Environment Development and Workbooks Conversion, helping drive data-driven decisions for one of the most renowned healthcare organizations in the world.

Your Role & Responsibilities
- Manage and resolve daytime on-call requests, including routine support, break/fix issues, report failures, and general inquiries
- Troubleshoot and restart failed reports, ensuring seamless data reporting operations
- Modify existing reports based on approved change requests and business needs
- Design and build BigQuery tables using extracted data from the SCC Soft Laboratory Information System (LIS)
- Develop and maintain Tableau workbooks and datasets, ensuring optimal performance on Tableau Server
- Manage Tableau content across multi-tier environments (DEV/STAGE/PROD)
- Collaborate in Agile Scrum environments using tools like Azure DevOps
Skills & Experience You Should Possess
- Expertise in working with SCC Soft LIS, interpreting data fields for BigQuery development
- Advanced SQL skills with experience writing, reading, and troubleshooting code for Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, and Google BigQuery
- Strong proficiency in developing and supporting Tableau workbooks and published datasets
- Familiarity with managing Tableau content across development tiers (DEV/STAGE/PROD)
- Solid understanding of Agile Scrum methodologies and project tracking using Azure DevOps
Bonus Points If You Have:
- Experience building and maintaining data integration packages using Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
- Familiarity with creating data pipelines using Google Data Fusion
Education & Certifications You Need:
- Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of relevant experience, including 1 year of technical expertise
- OR, Associate’s degree with 7+ years of relevant experience, including 1 year of technical expertise
What We Offer

- Salary: $88,000 - $98,000 annually, based on experience
