The team

We are seeking a talented Data Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will work closely with Finance and other stakeholders to develop, optimize, and maintain robust data pipelines that support critical business operations. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the transformation of our architecture, ensuring it is efficient, secure, and compliant, while also exploring broader data automation initiatives across the organization.

The opportunity

  • Supporting Finance stakeholders with setting and maintaining the data pipelines used to process payments and provide reporting

  • Participating to the team architecture overhaul to enhance efficiency, security and compliance of the underlying infrastructure

  • Lead efforts to optimize and automate data integration processes, minimizing manual intervention and maximizing efficiency

  • Optimizing data pipeline to ensure data processing without errors, ensuring integrity, supporting velocity and continuously improving

  • Identifying opportunities to best provide values to the team's stakeholders by maintaining good communication, and acquiring business knowledge of the financial data processed for our core use cases

  • Participating to additional data automation opportunities, within a wide range of topics, including but not limited to: IT Asset Management, GRC to HR, Legal and ERP systems

  • Supporting documentation of code, infrastructure and use cases

Skills you should HODL

  • Proficiency in Cloud DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and containerization

  • Strong knowledge of Cloud Security, including Identity and Access Management (IAM), confidentiality, integrity, and availability (CIA) best practices, as well as telemetry and logging

  • Expertise in data workflow engineering, including ETL/ELT processes, orchestration, scheduling, error handling and scalability

  • Adherence to software engineering best practices, such as code testing and review, change and incident management (CHG/INC), reusability, thorough documentation, and experience with APIs and command-line interfaces (CLI)

  • Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Python, Go, or TypeScript (compiled languages not required)

  • Strong understanding of integration patterns such as APIs, webhooks, and event-driven architectures

  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders

  • Initiative to identify opportunities and proactively address challenges

  • Critical thinking abilities to analyze complex problems and develop actionable solutions

Nice to haves

  • Familiarity with financial data, including bank statements, transaction reports, and accounting terminology

  • Understanding of cryptocurrency technologies and principles. data: bank statements, transaction reports, accounting core terminology
