Job Description

About the role:

  • As a Data Architect, you will be responsible for designing and managing the data architecture of our organization. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand data requirements, develop data models, and ensure data integrity and quality across various systems. Your expertise will help drive data-driven decision-making and strategic initiatives.


About the team:

  • FIS® Treasury and Risk Suite helps you automate and control processes, cost-effectively achieve compliance, and respond quickly to market change. Our product helps organization focus on their core business by solving complex financial challenges.  

What you will be doing:

  • Develop and maintain the data architecture, including data models, data integration & data flow.
  • Documenting functional product solutions as well as key FIS financial services opportunities.
  • Maintaining a catalogue of reusable functional application components relevant for applications and product lines.
  • Collaborate with stake holders, IT teams to understand data requirement and translate them into technical solution.
  • Implement best practices and drive continuous improvement.

What you will need:

  • Expertise with end-to-end systems development life cycles and a background leading large projects.
  • Five or more years in a distributed and heterogeneous computing environment, working with relational or hierarchical databases.
  • Experience with Snowflake and Power BI preferred.
  • Experience designing and implementing applications in a shared service bureau environment.
  • Proficiency in solutions design and requirements definition disciplines leveraging model driven design-based tools and techniques.
  • A bachelor’s in computer science or engineering, or the equivalent experience – post-graduate education desired.

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $145,900.00 - $245,120.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
