Reporting into the Manager, as a Data and Business Consultant, you will help promote the value of our Data Platforms solutions in our clients’ ecosystem. You will understand and use our Customer Experience technology stack as a framework to develop an understanding of how our solutions align to ensure our client’s vision from the perspective of data flows, process flows, systems integrations and ways of working. You will partner with subject matter experts across the Dentsu network for multiple industries (i.e., Retail, Financial Services, Pharmaceutical) to develop recommendations, educational content, and expertise to inform planning, decisions, technical implementations / ongoing solution operations, growth, and road mapping.

You Will:

  • Partner with our client's marketing and IT teams to align goals and use cases with the necessary data availability, ingestion, transformation, and connectivity transformation, enhancement, identification and connectivity for enablement

  • Lead discovery sessions to understand the clients’ data ecosystem

  • Work with client and Merkle teams to support delivery for a variety of project types from pure consulting engagements to solution implementations and ongoing roadmap activities

  • Summarize complex and contradictory information into clear, and unambiguous requirements for internal and client audiences that may not be as familiar.

  • Perform data analysis to support the understanding and viability assessment of use case requirements

  • Partner with our teams to develop materials and other internal and external sales content

You Have:

  • 3+ years’ experience with data warehousing/database concepts and Customer Data Platforms

  • Knowledge of customer identity resolution concepts including data cleansing, matching and besting

  • 3+ years’ experience with marketing and customer experience use cases including analytics, business intelligence and marketing campaign execution

  • Experience with data profiling and analysis and process flow diagramming

  • Experience with the entire Software Development Lifecycle (requirements, scoping, develop, test, deploy, and maintain)

  • Familiarity with project management/change management methodologies (I.e., Waterfall and Agile)

  • Experience using requirements management (elicitation, scoping, documentation, approval, traceability, validation, and acceptance)

  • Experience with data warehousing/database concepts including data query tools/languages (SQL, Python) or familiarity with cloud platform variations (i.e., Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift)

  • Experience with work management tools (i.e., JIRA, Workfront, or similar ticketing systems)

  • Experience presenting to internal and external teams

  • Knowledge of Customer Data Platforms and familiarity with Salesforce Data Cloud, AI agents, Adobe AEP, or AI tools is advantageous

The anticipated salary range for this position is $68,000-$110,400. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, skills and other factors permitted by law. A range of medical, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and/or other benefits also are available.
