Location: Remote working, however, you will need to be North East based to attend the office when needed (Cobalt Business Park, NE27 0QJ)

Salary: Up to circa £30,000 depending on skills & experience

What you’ll do

The Data & Analytics Engineer will work as part of a dynamic team of specialists to support our clients during all stages of their Data & Analytics projects, allowing them to obtain a deeper understanding of their business. You will have access to the best learning, development and enablement resources afforded by Cybit’s status as a Qlik Elite partner and long-term Microsoft Solutions Partner.

This is an exceptional opportunity that will support you in progressing to the role of a Data & Analytics Consultant.

As part of the Data & Analytics team you will work with a variety of clients including those in the private and public sector, providing consultation to support their business requirements. Utilising technologies such as Qlik Sense and Power BI you will work collaboratively to build relationships to deliver the right solution based on their requirements.

You'll be supporting all elements of the appropriate packages including cloud migration, data loading, dashboard creation, server and client installations, system upgrades, troubleshooting issues as they arise, and user training.

You'll work within an experienced and supportive team environment and will have the opportunity to develop technical data & analytics skills and grow your professional consultancy experience through hands on working, peer coaching and formal certification processes.

 

We're looking for someone with

  • A good knowledge of Qlik Sense or QlikView.
  • An understanding of core data concepts.
  • Proven skills in querying databases technology such as Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Project delivery experience. 
  • Stakeholder management experience, including an adaptive and positive attitude to challenges and change.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with clients to support them at all stages of their Data & Analytics journey to ensure a long-term partnership
  • A good level of IT knowledge with the ability to express this knowledge in terms appropriate to your audience, which may include client senior executives, IT managers and end-users
  • An interest in learning other Data & Analytics tools such as Power BI, Azure Data Factory, Microsoft Fabric
  • Good presentation, communication and listening skills. 
  • Ability to understand the business requirements of our clients and to assist clients into shaping these into system requirements.
