What this position entails
By leveraging our relationships with retail pharmacy chains, PBM’s, and data clearinghouses, Milliman IntelliScript assesses pharmacy and other types of data on an identified and de-identified basis. IntelliScript’s SaaS tools analyze and organize large quantities of data through risk management applications for health plans and life insurers. Data Analysts on the Technical Operations team implement and test client configurations of our system.
- Work on and manage a variety of routine and ad-hoc projects
- Manage all internal and external project-related documentation with the utmost accuracy

What you will be doing
- Support client implementations of Irix, taking on projects and tasks as needed
- Learn the inner workings of our technology, and communicate effectively on technical subjects
- Perform detailed regression testing within the rules engine for client releases
- Identify test cases for proposed rule changes
- Update project management system with changes and testing status
- Perform business analysis and prepare documentation to fulfill internal and external requests
Check and validate team members’ work and results in peer review workflow
- Support Project Management team with client calibrations and demonstrations of our rule engine
- Run reports (usually in SQL) to analyze rules and impact of changes
- Deploy systems to test & production
What we need
- Completed Bachelor’s degree in any field
- 1+ years of professional experience
- Experience working in Databricks and AWS
- Familiarity with MS Office: Excel in particular
- Familiarity with SQL
- The ability to work with confidential and sensitive information (HIPAA).

Location
The expected application deadline for this job is March 31, 2025. This position is open to remote work. Applicants must be willing to travel to the Milliman office in Brookfield, WI as needed and travel nationwide for meetings, conferences, and team events.
The salary range is $47,000 - $109,000, depending on relevant factors, including but not limited to, education, relevant work experience, qualifications, skills, certifications, location, etc. If relevant experience is less than two years the range would be $47,000 to $89,000; for experience of greater than two years, the range would be $55,000 - $109,000. In addition, we offer a performance-based bonus plan, profit sharing, and generous benefits.
