Cybersecurity Engineer [JOB ID 20240916]

Phoenix Cyber is looking for Cybersecurity Engineers to join our client delivery team. This is a remote, work-from-home position with the possibility of minimal travel within the continental United States.

Requirements:

  • Degree in a STEM related discipline and/or a minimum 5 years of experience
  • Ten (10) years of relevant IT experience
  • Three (3) Years of relevant Operational Technology experience
  • DOD Secret Clearance with ability to obtain a TS. 
  • Relevant certification meeting DOD 8570.01 IAT level III, and IASAE level III.
  • Computing Environment (CE): Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate or Expert, Cisco Certified Network Administrator, Microsoft Azure Security Technologies, Amazon Certified Security, or designated CE by the COR
  • Prior consulting experience

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical expertise and real-life experience in creating innovative solutions within the cybersecurity space
  • Performs a variety of routine project tasks applied to specialized Cybersecurity problems. 
  • Tasks involve integration of electronic processes or methodologies to resolve total system problems, or technology problems as they relate to cybersecurity requirements. 
  • Analyzes information security requirements.
  • Applies analytical and systematic approaches in the resolution of problems of workflow, organization, and planning. 
  • Provides security engineering support for planning, design, development, testing, demonstration, integration of information systems.
  • Ability to navigate and adapt to a fast-paced ever-changing environment with a team of like-minded, cross-functional individuals
