Senior Cybersecurity Investigation Manager

The Senior Cybersecurity Investigation Manager is the principal point of contact in leading the organization's efforts to investigate cyber incidents, including data breaches and internal threats. This role supports essential business functions such as HR and Legal, ensuring that all incidents are resolved swiftly and effectively to minimize impact on the organization.

This position serves as a key member of the BU leadership team and operates at a strategic and senior level, applying experience and knowledge of strategy development, marketing, and sales in Bioscience markets while leading a highly engaged team that is focused on execution, innovation, and the customer experience.

Position is fully remote, based on the East Coast (preferably close to Tampa, FL)

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage cyber initiatives to support Ethics and Compliance investigations, HR investigations, and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) escalations.
  • Gather and preserve evidence from different sources to support investigations using industry standard evidence gathering tools.
  • Provide detailed reports and analysis on incidents, highlighting key findings and recommendations for preventive measures.
  • Ensure all investigations are conducted in compliance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with external legal and forensic experts when necessary to handle complex investigations.
  • Ensure that all evidence collected during investigations is handled and preserved according to legal standards to support potential legal actions.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to conduct thorough investigations and provide data in a forensically and legal sound way.
  • Maintain and enhance the incident response plan, integrating the latest cybersecurity trends and technologies.
  • Conduct post-incident analysis to identify lessons learned and recommend enhancements in the security posture.
  • Collaborate with IT and security teams to implement defensive measures and strengthen infrastructure.
  • Work with legal counsel to ensure compliance with data protection laws and regulations, such as GDPR, CCPA, and others.

Key requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree; preferably in IT, computer science or Cybersecurity

• At least 10+ additional years of work experience in cybersecurity and Information technology
