Position Description:
Reporting to the Security Operations Center Manger will partner with the Cyber Security team and across PAR Information Technology organizations to protect PAR network and infrastructure assets, intellectual property, customer, and employee data.
PAR is headquartered in New York. This is a work remote role. We want the best people no matter where you are. The team stays well connected and cohesive while remote.

What We’re Looking For:
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Familiarity with security principles, including firewalls, encryption, and vulnerability management.
• Basic knowledge of SIEM tools, intrusion detection systems, and endpoint security.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively and effectively communicate with cross-functional teams.
• Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, or similar, are a plus but not mandatory.
• Understanding of network security protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, and SSL.
• Experience in log analysis and correlation to identify potential security incidents.
• Awareness of industry regulations such as GDPR, ISO 27001, or local data protection laws.
• Knowledge of cloud security is a plus.
