Description

Coursedog is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Customer Marketing Specialist to join our growing marketing team. This individual will support the Product Marketing Manager in executing on marketing strategies that engage, retain, and delight our customers. The ideal candidate is passionate about higher education, has a good understanding of customer needs, and is eager to connect with higher ed customers in an edtech SaaS setting.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Engagement & Retention:
  • Assist in developing and implementing customer marketing campaigns to increase product adoption, customer satisfaction, retention, and upsell.
  • Support the Senior User Education Manager in increasing engagement with existing user education content and help build out a customer certification process.
  • Create targeted communication materials that resonate with various audience segments in our customer base.
  • Manage the logistics of the customer webinar series, including coordinating content with the Customer Success team and handling webinar production and promotion.
  • Support the Product Marketing Manager in delivering core communications to customers through appropriate channels.
  • Contribute to the creation of high-quality content throughout the customer lifecycle, from first touchpoint through implementation and beyond.
  • Assist in driving adoption of new features through launch plans, campaigns, and enablement materials.
  • Help create content that drives awareness and excitement for our future-looking roadmap.
Customer Advocacy & Ambassadorship:
  • Support the Product Marketing Manager in maintaining customer relationships to develop advocates for case studies, testimonials, references, and speaking opportunities.
  • Assist in implementing and maintaining a system for generating new business pipeline through customer referrals.
  • Contribute to the expansion of customer review-generation on key sites such as G2.com and other software comparison sites.
  • Support the coordination and delivery of content and experiences for Product Councils and Customer Advisory Board meetings.
Customer Events:
  • Assist in planning and executing key customer events to support growing the Coursedog community, in collaboration with the Field & Campaign Marketing Manager.
  • Support efforts to drive registration and customer engagement for the annual Coursedog Conference, working closely with the Content Marketing Manager and Field & Campaign Marketing Manage

Skills Knowledge and Expertise

  • 1-3 years of experience in marketing or consulting, preferably in a B2B SaaS or education technology environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
