Additional Information:
- Salary: $17.50/Hour ($19.50/hour for bilingual Spanish)
- Location: Fully remote after the training period. Training will be in office at 7272 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75231
- Training: April 7, 2025 - July 11, 2025 in office. Subject to extension.
- Equipment: Full home office set up provided to you on first day of training (laptop, monitor, keyboard, mouse, and headset)
- Shift: Available shifts starting as early as 6:45am CST and staying as late as 7:15pm.
Daily Scope of Work - The Customer Engagement Associate is responsible for cultivating customer relationships by responding to calls and inquiries from the general public. Responsible for engaging with customers on a variety of health, donor, and other topics related to the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association. Responsible for making routine outbound calls.

Responsibilities
- Respond to questions about healthy living, advocacy, charitable estate planning, direct marketing, local office referral, revenue programs, science, stroke, and CPR while maintaining a high level of productivity based on standards and performance goals.
- Cultivate customer and partner relationships by promoting American Heart Association/American Stroke Association programs.
- Provide information to develop and change the customer’s mindset and behaviors regarding cardiovascular disease and stroke that will build relationships and increase customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Create conversations that encourage customers to donate to the organization, thus contributing to revenue generation and long-lasting donor relationships.
- Customer calls are non-routine, non-scripted that often require Internet research and personalized responses. Conversations may include inside sales to promote revenue generation activities.
- Make routine outbound calls to thank donors, welcome volunteers, and assist with events such as Heart Walk, youth activities or advocacy issues.
- Input customer information into a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database.
- Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope and responsibility of the job level and family.

Qualifications
- Customer service field or call center environment (At least two (2) years’ experience is a plus).
- Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated excellent problem-solving skills.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to develop alternate solutions and make sound decisions.
- Available to work Monday through Saturday.
Preferred Experience:
- Bilingual Preferred
- At least two (2) years’ experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Systems (Microsoft Dynamics preferred)
- Microsoft Excel
