About the role


We are looking for a passionate Customer Account Configuration Specialist who gets excited about completing system configuration and updates that directly contribute to customers achieving success with BetterComp.

What you’ll do:

  • Guide new customers to success by assisting with initial customer account configuration as part of the implementation process
  • Ensure BetterComp customer satisfaction by providing on-going account support for post-implementation customers including completing updates to configuration and data management, and related account support activities
  • Utilize different technology tools to process confidential customer data and information 
  • Identify process improvement opportunities, draft solutions and advocate for change 
  • Contribute to helping grow our account support/implementation functions and processes
  • Use internal team tools to keep track of work progress
  • Other projects as needed

What you bring:

  • 3 – 5 years of experience in customer account configuration and service; big plus if it was for a SaaS HR company
  • Strong understanding of relational databases
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Ability to work remotely and stay focused independently with consistent check-ins
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Able to use Google Suite products
  • Demonstrates the highest level of confidentiality when working with sensitive data
  • Proven success in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
  • Familiarity with HR/compensation practices a big plus
