Springboard Collaborative invites talented and passionate candidates to apply for the position of Curriculum Editor. The Curriculum Editor will be responsible for conceptualizing, producing, editing, and analyzing curricular content in support of Springboard Collaborative programming. A successful candidate will have strong written and verbal communication skills, high accountability and dependability, and impeccable attention to detail while being a true team player. Â
Springboard Collaborative closes the literacy gap by closing the gap between home and school. We coach educators and family members to help kids learn to read by 4th grade. Springboard envisions a world in which parents and teachers work togetherârather than in isolationâto accelerate student learning. The Curriculum Editor supports this goal by producing high-quality, clear, and effective content to support student and family instruction.Â
The Curriculum Editor is an individual contributor role. The Curriculum Editor will report to the Director, Curriculum and work as part of the Product & Service department. This is a great opportunity to support an entrepreneurial team to maximize the impact of a rapidly growing organization.

Here are your priorities in the first year:
- You will revise and establish a plan for the department to adopt a set of editorial standards and authoring guidelines suitable for K-5 student and family instruction.Â
- You will establish a set of accessibility standards for K-5 student and family materials and collaborate with content creators and quality engineers to operationalize compliance to standards.Â
- In partnership with the Content Architect, you will establish an authoring and revision workflow that can be automated leveraging the Content âŚ
