Our technology-forward omnichannel and API-first solution allows any merchant to offer protection plans, both online and in store, while also providing a merchant's end customers with a vastly improved and modern support experience that eliminates many of the issues customers face today with legacy underwriters. More recently, Extend also launched a shipping protection solution, covering consumers in the case of lost, damaged or stolen packages. This is further expanding the company’s addressable market and value creation for merchants.

About The Role:

The marketing team at Extend is responsible for all of our consumer and B2B marketing plans and strategies. Our CRM team is responsible for our communications to merchants and consumers via email and SMS and partners closely with our Product, Customer Service and Merchant Success teams to deliver a fantastic customer experience.

We’re seeking a contractor to support our CRM team 20 hours per week for six months.

What You'll Do:

  • Create new templated transactional and marketing emails (B2C and B2B) 
  • Create new merchant-branded transactional and marketing emails as needed
  • Create new SMS messages for Extend and our merchant partners
  • Set up new journeys in Iterable 
  • Check to ensure that post purchase flows for custom merchants have the data needed in Iterable to send
  • Upload multiple lists to Iterable and send a manual confirmation emails for custom merchants 
  • Debug CRM issues as they come up, working in partnership with cross-functional teams 
  • Pull Iterable usage metrics monthly and monitor our usage levels
  • Monitor email sends monthly to ensure all emails are sending properly
  • Work cross functionally on CRM-related projects to ensure success for Extend and our merchant partners
  • Communicate CRM updates to our customer and merchant facing teams to help them better sell Extend’s capabilities
  • Consult on any CRM projects or strategic plans

What We're Looking For:

  • 4+ years of experience in email marketing
  • Bachelor’s in Marketing, Business, or related field
  • Knowledge of and experience with Iterable is required
  • Proficient in HTML
  • Experience with creating audience segmentation and building customer journeys
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams (ex: Product, Customer Service) to solve problems.
  • Must work regular business hours (ET, CT, MT or PT)
  • Must be available to start in October 2024

Expected Pay Range: $70.00 per hour*

*The target hourly compensation range for this position is listed above. Individual compensation is determined based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, work location and job-related knowledge, skills and experience.

Contract positions are not benefit eligible.
