We are excited to announce an exceptional career opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced Credentialing Coordinator to join our dynamic team at Holding Hands. This pivotal role involves managing clinician credentialing across our locations. You will work with different departments across our organization to ensure clinicians are compliant with insurance companies. You will play an integral role in ensuring our clinicians are timely credentialed. This is an incredibly important and exciting position that offers the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of both clients and employees alike.  

A Day in the life of a Credentialing Coordinator

  • Manage the credentialing and re-credentialing process for providers, including completing applications, gathering required documentation, and submitting materials to insurance companies. 
  • Monitor the status of credentialing applications and follow up with insurance companies as needed to expedite the process. 
  • Maintain accurate records of provider credentials and enrollment status. 
  • Maintain and manage provider CAQH accounts including all appropriate documentation.  
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure all credentialing requirements are met. 
  • Stay up to date on changes in insurance regulations and credentialing requirements. 
  • Provide support and assistance to providers regarding credentialing inquiries. 
  • All other related duties as assigned. 

Qualifications - What you bring to the table

QUALIFICATIONS 
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.  
  • Experience within the Behavioral Health or Healthcare field is preferred. 
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office 
SKILLS 
  • Must demonstrate exceptional communication skills, listen effectively, and ask questions when clarification is needed.  
  • Ability to follow instructions and respond to directions accurately.  
  • Demonstrates accuracy, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Looks for ways to improve and promote quality and monitors own work to ensure quality is met.  
  • Maintain confidentiality.  
  • Work independently, prioritize work activities, and use time efficiently.

  • Must possess the ability to manage change, delays, or unexpected events appropriately
