Job Summary

The Digital Experience Design team (DXD) is at the convergence of technological innovation, creativity, and opportunity at Comcast. This role is obsessed with designing best in class, dynamic, intuitive digital top of the funnel marketing/sales experiences that are platform agnostic. With a focus on delivering top notch and innovative experience strategy and design for Xfinity Mobile, Website, Retail Interactive Platforms this role is accountable for the user experience, working closely with various business teams focused on Sales, Marketing, Product and Brand experience to ensure both business vision and customer expectations are met. Evolves the vision; directs the design and voice; owns the experience of the Xfinity brand, sales & marketing experiences across multiple platforms. Provides leadership and direction for team which may include multiple functional areas. Develops and implements strategy for functional area(s). May have responsibility for developing and managing budget.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  • Sets and directs the creative direction and strategic guidance of all projects 
  • Oversees and in this case builds a team, create processes and works with various creative teams within the Xfinity Creative shop including Advertising creatives, brand design and tech teams 
  • Partners with the business teams to craft and deliver experience designs 
  • Leads and creates the connectivity of experiences through journey flows from prospect to existing customer for sales, marketing, and self-service. 
  •  Maintains the highest standards of product usability and design quality and takes the lead role in art direction of specific projects, ensuring that projects are assigned and delivered on deadline. 
  • Manages and leads a team of UEX Designers, Front End Developers, Information Architects, Content Developers, Usability Analysts and augmented consultants. 
  • Drives the design and development of innovative user interfaces and interaction styles which result in improved user productivity, discoverability and simplicity. 
  • Contributes to developing a long term UEX vision designed to bring about innovative, consumer-focused experiences that meet business, project and design goals. 
  • Oversees UI initiatives and ensures recommendations are appropriately shared to help inform web strategies and designs, with a view on improving the user experience. 
  • Improves efficiency and legitimacy of organizational operation by establishing and tracking performance metrics. 
  • Manages outside vendors, contractors and related budgets. 
  • Expert in the application of development methodologies that supports collaborative, iterative and improved design. 
  • Ensures a positive, collaborative cross-functional atmosphere and process across all of Comcast with specific attention on the UEX cross-discipline teams
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.

Compensation

Primary Location Pay Range: $174,654.24 - $261,981.36

Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience.
