The Opportunity:

The Correspondent Fulfillment Specialist plays a pivotal role in managing the pipeline of assigned correspondent sellers. This position encompasses the management of submissions and disclosures. Additionally, the specialist is tasked with ensuring efficient and precise data entry, and meticulously auditing relevant loan documents throughout various stages of the loan lifecycle prior to purchase. A solid understanding of product guidelines is essential for this role, which demands comprehensive oversight and management of all operational components. This includes ensuring adherence to regulatory standards, fostering efficiency, and maintaining exceptional communication with all stakeholders. The ideal candidate for this position is a proactive problem-solver with outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail, who flourishes in the fast-paced environment of our mortgage operations.

This is a Full-Time/Remote opportunity offering competitive pay ranging from $60,000 to $68,000 annually.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and authenticate loan submissions and disclosures from correspondent lenders, ensuring that all necessary documentation and information is thoroughly provided.
  • Submission/Disclosure/Closing/Purchasing: Perform meticulous evaluations of each loan, guaranteeing complete compliance with our company’s protocols and federal laws while upholding service level agreements.
  • Pipeline Management: Efficiently manage the loan pipeline to ensure swift reviews of all loan requests and their timely progression through the submission, disclosure, closing, and/or purchasing phases.
  • Interdepartmental Coordination: Collaborate with internal operations and sales teams to quickly identify and resolve any issues that arise.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Keep correspondent lenders in the loop with frequent, clear updates on loan statuses and promptly address any questions or concerns they may have.
  • Process Improvement: Engage in ongoing improvements of our loan processes, proposing adjustments that enhance efficiency and ensure full compliance.
  • Communicate all escalations and issues with urgency to facilitate swift resolution, diligently following through until solutions are implemented.
  • Maintain high accountability and strive to become a subject matter expert within your role and department.
  • Complete all required Compliance Training modules within the designated timeframes.
  • Other related duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in mortgage operations and/or fulfillment.
  • A thorough understanding of both federal and state mortgage lending regulations.
  • Exceptional analytical abilities complemented by remarkable attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, adept at fostering and maintaining positive relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Exceptional time management and demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a dynamic workplace.
