Micron Global Talent Acquisition team is seeking a motivated Contract Recruiter to help support our US Expansion efforts as we continue to build and grow our Semiconductor footprint here in the US. In this role, you will be responsible for setting direction, delivering, and implementing recruiting strategies that relate to growing our sites in Boise, Idaho, Clay, New York and our other sites throughout the US. The scope of this role includes the full-lifecycle ownership of positions from Job Description creation through offer delivery to our candidates.
 
This role requires excellent communication (written and verbal), organizational and interpersonal skills, and the ability to interact with and influence all levels of the organization. As the ideal candidate, you can achieve results in a fast-moving, vibrant environment. You are proactive and have a solid team ethic and work effectively in a cross-functional environment. You coordinate priorities and initiatives, troubleshoot, and analyze complex problems, and lead multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Create and implement talent strategies that identify and acquire top diverse talent enabling Micron business growth, vision and mission.

  • Recruit & deliver highly qualified external candidates against open positions, drawing upon advising skills, and staffing expertise to recommend the best course of actions to recruit, assess, select, and hire

  • Partner with hiring teams and upper management to meet business hiring requirements

  • Demonstrate sourcing techniques applying a wide variety of tools, technology, and networks

  • Provide excellent communication with external candidates to provide an outstanding interview experience

  • Partner with business executives, leaders, and all areas of HR to understand business needs, grow talent pipelines, and source for key positions within the company in the present, and in the future.

  • Ensure performance metrics are aligned with objectives, applied strategically, and communicated effectively

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in staffing, recruiting strategy, process, and execution, preferably in a global environment

  • Experience building rapport and interacting with essential team members and internal and external partners

  • Data driven capability – ability to use appropriate metrics that influence and drive decisions
