What’s in Store 

We're on the lookout for a Contract Manager SOF to join our growing team! As a Contract Manager SOF, you will review and maintain thorough comprehension of the State of Florida contract with Davies North America to facilitate understanding and adherence to the contract standards by the whole team.  You will also research contract terms as necessary. Responsibilities include training of State of Florida DRM staff related to the Workers’ Compensation program and acting as a liaison with the State of Florida, Department of Risk Management, Workers’ Compensation coordinators and other related DRM staff. Additional duties include:

 

  • Review and maintain complete understanding of the contract between SOF and Davies North America to mitigate negative consequences and ensure that the Davies North America team remains in compliance with all the performance standards and adheres to the reporting requirements
  • Act as a liaison between Davies North America and DRM, particularly related to the contract and performance standards required by the State of Florida
  • Respond to complaints and grievances as necessary and in compliance with DRM performance standards
  • Support the protocol, policies and procedures of Davies North America, and the SOF contracted performance requirements including staffing and timeframes
  • Oversee the DPS monthly reports from the supervisory staff, compile the overall submittal via the Performance Reporting System according to the contractual requirements; review any follow-up commentary and provide recommendations for dispute of any fines to VP/ Davies North America In liaison with VP/ Davies North America and supervisory staff, address all service/quality-related concerns presented by the customer
  • Work effectively in Excel and other reporting applications to allow for analysis of program outcomes
  • Collaborate with department leaders, train and advise staff in job duties as necessary related to DRM performance standards to ensure compliance with policy and procedure for effective business operation
  • Maintain patient privacy by ensuring that all medical records, case specific information and provider specific information are kept in a confidential manner, in accordance with state and federal laws and regulations
  • Serve on appropriate committees such as Grievance, Quality Assurance and others as directed
  • Assist with the preparation of monthly/quarterly minutes for staff meetings and all QA/UR related functions
  • Facilitate resolution of any contract-related problems that may arise with the client and/or Davies North America
  • Ensure contract documents are accurate and well maintained; saved in accessible system files and updated with revision dates as necessary; maintain records for documentation of all communications regarding contract-related matters
  • Maintain excellent working relationships with client contacts to ensure their needs are met; meet with customer staff as necessary
  • Identify opportunities to improve business processes and devise plans to implement these changes in liaison with the program manager
  • Perform special projects and other duties as directed

 

This role is a full-time, remote position.

 

Your Expertise, Skills, and Abilities

  • RN with a minimum of three (3) years clinical experience (medical-surgical, orthopedic, neurological, ICCU, industrial or occupational)
  • Proof of current Florida State Licensure 
  • A minimum of one (1) year of Florida Workers’ Compensation Case Management experience is required
  • Business administration degree or equivalent general management/administration experience
  • Other Qualifications:
