Content Marketing Manager
Remote, USA
We’re seeking a creative team member with a passion for writing, design, and storytelling. The AppOmni Marketing team is a mighty, meme-loving, and motivated group of go-getters. We’re constantly learning, experimenting, iterating, and celebrating bumps just as much as success. As the category creators behind SaaS Security Posture Management (or SSPM), we like to take risks, try new things, and we definitely get things done.
Are you ready to bring your talent in content marketing to AppOmni?
What you'll do:
- Shape and own the strategy and execution of derivative content — repurposed from reports, owned blogs, case studies, webinars, or guides — to support cross-functional programs and complete the last mile of content distribution.
- Be comfortable with repurposing existing and upcoming content into different formats: contributed blogs, ad copy, web page content, infographics, listicles, data viz diagrams, or messages for podcast/video appearances.
- Collaborate with the head of content and social media manager to determine key moments and messaging priorities throughout the year, maintain the editorial calendar, and drive alignment across organic and paid touchpoints.
- Work closely with freelance designers and agencies on project management, align handoff expectations, anticipate questions/needs, and get ahead of deadlines.
- Partner with the Marketing team to provide content support for sales enablement.
- SEO & Digital Content Optimization: Ensure all content is optimized for search and LLMs, and collaborate with the Content team to maximize the discoverability and performance of blog posts, landing pages, and other online assets.
- Work with subject matter experts to confirm technical accuracy of anchor and glossary content; and continually update high-performing web assets with our SEO agency.
- Work with our webmaster and web agency to ensure proper meta titles, description, excerpts, and alt texts on launch landing pages.
- Analytics & Content Performance: Use analytics to track content performance, provide insights into what’s working, and iterate based on data. Work with the Marketing team and partner agencies to track the impact of content efforts on engagement, leads, and SEO rankings.
- Document processes in team playbooks and learning systems.
What we are looking for
- A deep understanding of Enterprise audiences and first-hand experience marketing to decision makers and software engineers.
- Excellent writing and copyediting skills, with ability to convey complex technical information clearly and effectively to diverse audiences.
- 5+ years of experience in Tech B2B Marketing is highly required.
- Have an eye for good design and layout that prompts user action.
- Track record of strategic collaboration on editorial calendars, content campaigns, topic ideation, and creative briefs.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with a focus on balancing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
- Experience working with tools like WordPress, Hubspot, Salesforce, GA4, Asana, Google Suite, Seismic, SEMrush, or similar (nice-to-have: Figma and Adobe Creative Suite).
- Self-starter mindset.
