Content Manager, Space.com
United States - Remote

What you'll be doing
Space.com is looking for a Content Manager to help streamline the team’s workflow, and improve processes for our team of writers. The ideal candidate will be enthusiast with all things space, an understanding of journalistic best practices and a great visual sense are also preferable.
Experience that will put you ahead of the curve
- You are comfortable with new apps and programs
- You have a strong sense of how to present digital articles and UX
- 1+ years of experience with photo editing software
- Previous Sub-editing experience preferred
- Previous working experience with tight deadlines
- Experience with a CMS
- Strong communication skills, and the ability to work with a global team
- Interest in space is preferred
- An understanding of basic journalistic ethics and best practices

The expected range for this role is $60,000 - $65,000
