The Content Design Manager is responsible for developing engaging website content that drives lead generation, awareness of the Curriculum Associates brand and products, and seamless customer engagement. Reporting directly to the Senior Manager, Web Experience, the Content Design Manager will play a crucial role in shaping the CA.com content strategy and ensuring its alignment with business goals and audience needs. This person may also partner with other teams across CA to influence content strategy across our owned channels, share best practices, and co-create a user experience that aligns with our goals. 

 

*This is a full-time, temporary assignment, ending in March 2025 

 

The impact you'll have:  

  • Lead a cross-departmental website audit and migration in advance of a website redesign
  • Develop comprehensive onsite content strategies that satisfy user needs and align with sales and marketing objectives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, creative, demand generation, and regional marketing to shape the content strategy for various digital initiatives
  • Identify content gaps and opportunities based on audience needs and industry insights and recommend content types and formats to maximize engagement and ROI 
  • Develop content templates and guidelines to maintain consistency, quality, and engagement; partner with brand team and others for consistency
  • Leverage analytics and performance metrics from the Data and Analytics team to monitor content effectiveness and optimize content to improve conversion rates and engagement
  • Conduct user testing to collect user insights, behaviors, needs, and patterns, translating these insights into content strategies that drive engagement and satisfaction 
  • Partner with SEO specialist to optimize content for organic search
  • Collaborate with the marketing automation team to integrate content into lead-nurturing workflows
  • Engage in joint brainstorming sessions and build bridges with the product team to deepen mutual understanding and foster an exchange of insights, ideas, and best practices  

 

Who we're looking for: 

  • Experience with a website redesign 
  • Proficient with SEO writing and SEO best practices   
  • Experience with A/B testing tools and implementation of A/B tests   
  • Experience using a content management system, Sitecore a plus 
  • Experience and knowledge of UX best practices in forming a website wireframe  
  • Experience with data and analytics tools and ability to leverage data to understand performance   
  • Ability to manage complex and fast-moving projects from start to finish and meet deadlines  
  • Proven track record of making data-driven decisions to optimize website performance in content   
  • Exceptional organizational skills and time management abilities    

 

Required Education and Experience:  

  • 3–5 years of B2B marketing experience with an understanding of marketing campaign strategies    
  • BA in journalism, marketing, or related field 
  • 5+ years’ experience in web content strategy
  • Experience in EdTech, educational publishing, or education  

Not required, although we'd love:

  • Experience working with U/X design 

 

Benefits and Pay Range:
Pay Range – This role’s range is $44.71/hr-$45/hr. The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that Curriculum Associates considers in making compensation decisions based on our Compensation Philosophy. Actual base pay within that range will vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, prior experience and relevant skill sets. At Curriculum Associates, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances for each case. The Company recognizes that minimum wage varies by location and will ensure all compensation decisions comply with applicable state and local laws.


Benefits - Temporary and per diem employees who average, and maintain, at least 30 hours of work per week may become eligible for medical coverage, under the Affordable Care Act, after an initial waiting period. Temporary and per-diem employees working more than 20 hours per week are eligible for twelve paid holidays. All temporary and per-diem employees are eligible for accrued sick time.
