Consulting Director - Healthcare Supply Chain

Summary:

In this role, you will provide strategy development, strategic planning, and operational leadership to drive the expansion of consulting services revenues and deliverables across the Supply Chain Continuum, encompassing Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Contracting, Distribution, Logistics, Inventory, and Accounts Payables.

Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic direction to clients and in-depth technical expertise through coordination, implementation, and delivery of consulting services.

• Provide general planning, business development, leadership, and management for Vizient’s Supply Chain Services offering.

• Interface with Vizient corporate solutions teams to help develop & advance programs and services.

• Serve as a player/coach while leading the development and execution of assessments and transformations to include all functional areas within Supply Chain.

• Facilitate early adoption of leading practice processes and operations by working with provider executives and department managers to identify and evaluate customer needs and to plan implementation.

• Perform management responsibilities to include program, personnel, budgetary, and business development.

• Communicate and assure the delivery of project-specific activities performed on assessments, implementations, and transformational initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Relevant degree preferred.

• 7 or more years of relevant experience in a healthcare provider or healthcare consulting firm setting required.

• A track record of success across all areas of the supply chain—Procurement, Contracting, Strategic Sourcing, Distribution, Logistics, Inventory, and Accounts Payables.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint required. Familiarity with database and analytics tools such as MS SQL, Power BI, or Tableau is a plus.

• Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain strong strategic relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers and participating providers.

• Proven success in managing and prioritizing multiple complex, time-sensitive projects effectively.

• Ability to travel regularly and expeditiously throughout the year to meet clients’ needs and timetables.

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $117,600.00 to $206,000.00.

This position is also incentive eligible.
