Summary:


In this role, you will work on the Vizient Clinical Quality Improvement (CQI) team which plays a critical role in helping our provider hospitals understand their current quality performance, supporting those hospitals in rapidly improving the quality of care for their patients, helping Vizient Member hospitals to explore their quality data, and enhancing clinical quality data and analytics. You will work in a leadership role as a member of a team of quality improvement specialists including physicians, nurses, hospital quality directors, analysts and others who work with hospitals on clinical quality improvement projects.  You will establish and maintain strong professional relationships with key hospital people especially hospital leaders like administrators and physicians.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with other internal team members and client hospital senior management and stakeholders to develop quality improvement strategies, define the project scope, goals, clinical initiatives, and deliverables that support the goals of the engagement.
  • Work with project teams analyzing clinical data, reviewing patient charts, observing clinical care, and driving the implementation of quality improvement initiatives.
  • Meet frequently with hospital executive teams and board members to review goals for the engagement, specific implementation plans and timelines, progress to date, and to update the direction of the engagement.
  • Conduct interviews with key hospital personnel and physicians.
  • Establish and maintain strong professional relationships with key hospital personnel including hospital administrators, physicians, nurses, and staff.
  • Help develop project plans, to do lists, timelines, and responsibilities.
  • Track project milestones and deliverables
  • Develop and deliver progress reports, requirements documentation, and presentations.
  • Conduct all these activities while maintaining the highest professional and ethical standards.


 Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree preferred.
  • 7 or more years of relevant experience in clinical data extraction, analysis, visualization, and delivery of insights to hospital clinical personal required.
  • Experience in clinical quality improvement preferred.
  • Familiarity with the unique aspects of the hospital environment and the culture of physicians, nurses, hospital staff, and administrators is a huge plus
  • Demonstrate advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to travel regularly and expeditiously throughout the year to meet clients’ needs and timetables.

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $117,600.00 to $194,200.00.

This position is also incentive eligible.
