Summary:

In this role, you will drive member value leading cardiovascular performance improvement initiatives providing strategic direction, consultation and support to achieve measurable and sustainable outcomes.  You will drive results, serving as a subject matter expert, in the identification, design and deployment of solutions focused on overall performance across cardiovascular service lines and category management.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, manage, and execute projects or work streams, ensuring alignment with scope, priorities, budget, and expected outcomes.

  • Conduct comprehensive data analysis, using spend, clinical, operational and procedural data to uncover actionable insights and drive performance improvement across cardiovascular service lines.

  •  Identify and develop compelling presentations and narratives using qualitative and quantitative data to support member decision-making.

  • Collaborate across advisory teams to execute initiatives effectively in a matrixed environment.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with member stakeholders, including physicians, administration, finance, cardiovascular service line teams, supply chain, contracting value analysis and senior leadership.

  • Facilitate member meetings and present findings to drive engagement and consensus on strategic initiatives.

  • Mentor and support consulting team members, providing guidance on research, analysis, and the application of best practices.

  • Partner with members to implement and sustain performance improvement initiatives, ensuring measurable outcomes.

  • Identify trends and use data-driven insights to develop recommendations for solving complex business challenges.

Qualifications: 

  • Relevant degree preferred.

  • 7 or more years of relevant experience required.

  • Experience in healthcare or consulting services is required, with a strong preference for candidates who have a background in clinical service line operations or management and possess knowledge of cardiovascular or cardiology devices, supplies, service line performance, management, delivery, and/or physician practice patterns.

  • Proven ability to manage complex project budgets and timelines, with strong project management and organizational skills.

  • Proficiency in data analysis tools, along with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

  • Ability to travel regularly and expeditiously throughout the year to meet clients’ needs and timetables.

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $117,600.00 to $206,000.00.

This position is also incentive eligible.
