PCG is currently seeking a Consultant for our Special Education Consulting Services team. With a growing local presence nationally, our goal is to provide superior program review, professional learning services, and technical assistance support to state and local agencies for students with disabilities. For self-started, motivated individuals, there is an excellent opportunity for career development and advancement. Consultants play a key role in project operations, business development and client engagement.Specific Responsibilities:
Business line leadership will provide the new Consultant with a comprehensive, challenging training plan to ensure:
- Within 30 days, understand and articulate current engagements, service offerings, and start to attend client meetings.
- Within 60 days, confidently lead client meetings and start to participate in our business development and project operations roadmap.
- Within 90 days, confidently lead prospective client meetings, proposal development, and related project operations.
After successful training and onboarding, the Consultant can expect to focus on client engagement, project operations and business development, including:
- Oversees and coordinates multiple engagements to ensure client deliverables are met in a timely manner.
- Investigates client operational processes and provides recommended solutions.
- Manage day-to-day project operations, including new client implementations, recurring meetings, documentation, and billing practices.
- Communicate with clients and other stakeholders to improve our services.
- Identify, evaluate, and take appropriate action with project risks.
- Coordinates and monitors proposal responses/solicitations with current and prospective clients.
- Lead proposal development and achieve annual engagement targets.
- Provide leadership with several, complex projects and sets of unique deliverables among multiple staff members.
- Serve as a primary point of contact with new clients.
- Coordinate preparation for client status reports and participate in presentations.
- Attend conferences and interact with prospective clients.
- Other responsibilities as necessary.

- Sound judgment in completing tasks and in seeking guidance when needed from team members.
- Demonstrated expertise in MS Office software.
- Strong research and project management capabilities.
Required Experience
- Bachelor's degree required, master’s degree a plus.
- At least four (4) years of related experience in education, healthcare, or consulting.
Differentiating Experience
- Prior experience in any of the following areas:
- PK-12 education, including classroom, administration, finance/business operations or information technology.
- Special Education instructional practice, compliance, and regulations
- Prior use of project management or CRM software, such as Asana, Zendesk or Microsoft Dynamics.
- Project management certification.
- Master’s degree in related field.

Salary $80,000-$90,000 Yearly.

Compensation:
Compensation for roles at Public Consulting Group varies depending on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by applicable law, PCG provides the following reasonable range of compensation for this role below. In addition, PCG provides a range of benefits for this role, including medical and dental care benefits, 401k, PTO, parental leave, bereavement leave.
