Summary of Role & Key Responsibilities

Our ESG Program Design and Implementation (PD&I) team specializes in providing strategic program design and implementation services, including materiality assessments, strategy development, program management and regulatory compliance support. We are looking for a Consultant who is early in their career, to join our growing PD&I team to support the execution and evolution of our ESG & Sustainability Strategy support services for clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with clients to prioritize, evaluate, and improve their ESG performance through ESG strategy development, goal setting, roadmap development and implementation, and impact and double materiality assessment exercises 
  • Work on several projects simultaneously, often with clients across different industries 
  • Support project and client managers in conducting primary and secondary research and analysis on sustainability/ ESG leadership practices, and emerging issues and trends in a variety of industry sectors utilizing a wide range of sources, including web searches, interviews, and other methodologies 
  • Deliver tasks on time and within budget and assist project managers to ensure that projects perform against targets and deadlines 
  • Support senior colleagues in the development of work plans, schedules, and budgets for the delivery of client projects and proposals 
  • Draft reports and presentations that summarize key messages to a variety of stakeholders enabling informed decision-making and long-term sustainability planning 
  • Support the continued evolution of our service offerings and methodologies to meet changing market needs 

Key Requirements & Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • 2+ years of relevant work experience in a corporate setting 
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant subject(s) in addition to the experience required above. Master’s degree in related field may substitute for 1 year of experience   
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for working with both internal teams and external clients 
  • Clear and concise written communications 
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to quality 
  • Proven research and analysis capabilities with the ability to support clear, compelling deliverables 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with a preference for experience in developing visually compelling PowerPoint presentations 
  • Ability to think and work independently, while also being an enthusiastic and proactive team player 
  • Well-presented with a professional demeanour to act as a brand ambassador
