We are seeking a talented individual to join our Advisory team at Marsh. The role can be based in Chicago, New York, Dallas, Atlanta or Minneapolis. This is a hybrid position that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office. 

Consultant – Enterprise Resource Management and/or Resiliency

Risk is our sole focus — which is why companies consistently call upon Marsh Advisory to handle their most challenging business issues. Marsh Advisory's Strategic Risk Consulting practice helps to identify enterprise-wide, business continuity and resiliency risks and then collaborates with our clients on mitigation strategies, executive preparedness exercises, and recovery plans designed to make sure they are prepared to quickly bounce back from an unexpected event.

We will count on you to:

  • Independently develop and maintain the client relationship by providing comprehensive consulting services in the Business Resiliency Services, including: Enterprise Risk Management, Business Continuity Management, Crisis Management, Emergency Response.

  • Manage a structured, consistent, and continuous risk management process applied across an entire organization that allows companies to better understand and address material risks.

  • Develop or refine resiliency plans and capabilities, including emergency response, crisis management and business continuity.

  • Conduct table top exercises to improve a client’s preparedness to respond in the event of a threat or crisis.

  • Experience leading a variety of client projects and accounts.

  • Collaborate with leading experts in the ERM and resiliency fields.

  • Have strong interpersonal and influencing skills

  • Experience in translating technical risk issues to business leaders to bridge stakeholders in an organization and assessing strategy and making recommendations to clients

What you need to have: 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; Master’s degree preferred

  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in emergency response, crisis management, business continuity, or enterprise resource management

  • Strong communication and analytical skills

  • A passion for learning, professional growth and knowledge sharing

  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with experience exercising mature judgment

  • CEM and CBCP credentials preferred

  • Experience working for a professional services firm, ideally with a focus in ERM (enterprise risk management) and/or Resiliency

Marsh McLennan is committed to hybrid work, which includes the flexibility of working remotely and the collaboration, connections and professional development benefits of working together in the office. All Marsh McLennan colleagues are expected to be in their local office or working onsite with clients at least three days per week. Office-based teams will identify at least one “anchor day” per week on which their full team will be together in person.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $89,400 to $190,400.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
