About the role:
The Manager of Construction, Development Advisory, requires a seasoned professional with 5-10 years of experience in a leading role managing an array of construction projects, particularly in concrete and wood-frame residential construction. Institutional construction experience (schools, recreation centers, etc.) is a plus. The Manager of Construction will act as the primary liaison between ownership, general contractors, and stakeholders, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Oversee and manage the general contractorâs performance, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Serve as the Ownerâs Representative, acting in the best interest of the client throughout the construction process.
Conduct site visits, inspections, and progress reports to identify and address potential risks or issues proactively.
Ensure compliance with all building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
Maintain clear and effective communication between clients, contractors, and internal teams.
Facilitate problem-solving and decision-making to keep projects moving efficiently.
Manage project documentation, contracts, change orders, and other relevant paperwork.
Provide guidance and leadership to both internal and external project teams, ensuring alignment with project goals and expectations.
 What you bring:
5-10 years of experience in a leading role within construction management, with a strong background in both concrete and wood-frame residential projects.
Experience overseeing general contractors and managing construction sites.
