The Health Solutions business area at Leidos is looking for a Connectivity and File Transfer Administrator to contribute to the Office of Child Support Services (OCSS) program, in a remote position for a customer in the Washington, DC Metro area.
As Connectivity and File Transfer Administrator, you will support daily operations and maintenance of a federal customer network which includes accessing Linux AWS EC2 instances, S3 storage buckets, application, System logs, and other AWS services. You will be responsible for proactively monitoring daily connectivity and file transfer with partners, troubleshooting, communicating with partners and resolving issues, configuring, modifying, and managing batch interface/scripts to support multiple applications. You will participate in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure and applications environments. You will ensure that all system and related procedures adhere to organizational values for a program supporting a federal customer.
Primary Tasks:
Work with external partners, and internally with system architects, network engineers, system engineers, software developers, and database administrators to perform troubleshooting, root cause analysis, problem analysis, and resolution of connectivity and file transfer issues as they arise.
Participate in all aspects of network and system operations including team meetings and troubleshooting calls.
Keep leadership informed of status and always escalate potential areas of concern.
Coordinate with business and technology teams on system/software requirements.
Create/update system/software documentation.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters degree with 2+ years prior relevant experience. Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
Expert troubleshooting and connectivity and file transfer issues resolution using FTP, SFTP, and FTPS.
Expert knowledge of LINUX command line and basic system administration.
Expert critical-thinker and problem-solver.
