As a Project Manager, you will:
- Be the go-to person for overseeing all aspects of assigned congresses, working closely with the internal planning team to make sure everything runs smoothly.
- Juggle various tasks like managing congress owners, building strong relationships with Professional Congress Organizers (PCOs), handling budgets, ensuring compliance, and taking care of all the necessary contracting paperwork.
- Support the Operations Manager by handling additional responsibilities like providing on-site training, onboarding new hires, optimizing program implementation, and creating useful training resources.
You're Good at:
- People Management: Effectively managing direct reports, providing training, and developing future leaders.
- Client Communication: Advising critical deadlines, managing fiscal responsibility, and negotiating with suppliers.
- Meeting Planning: Initiating congress verification, managing Local Services Events, budget creation, and reconciliation.
- Technology Tools: Overseeing registration forms, maintaining attendee data, and reviewing client congress databases.
- Transferable Skills: Detail-oriented, excellent communication, strong leadership, organization, customer relations, problem-solving, decision-making, and proficiency in software programs.
You Might Also Have:
- Experience in meeting planning or related roles.
- Success with various meeting program formats on a small and large scale.
- Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize work, work independently, meet deadlines, and work well under pressure.
- Up to 40% travel required with a valid passport.
