Condo Product Development Manager

Our Condo team is seeking a Product Manager. As the Product Manager, you will be responsible for the research, development, and execution of solutions as part of the roadmap and strategy for our Condo product. You will utilize strategic analysis of market trends and business opportunities to develop and implement Condominium Insurance products and maintain current products that lead to growth and profits consistent with Assurant’s future strategic plan. In addition, you will support the team by owning key state filings and evaluating new products, endorsements, and services within the product pipeline.
What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?
Collaborate with Product Owners, other product leaders, and key stakeholders throughout the organization to execute the strategy for the products you work on
Own the overall user experience, goals, and needs associated with products under your management and become an expert with a deep understanding of your products
Own, lead, and socialize the features that you own, and help with your team's product vision and roadmap, ensuring that they meet customer and user needs while also achieving the company's strategic goals
Collaborate with Development, Design, Operations, Marketing, and other team members throughout product definition and delivery
Create explicit, concise, and complete user stories; grow and refine product backlog by working with your Product teams to prioritize against short and long-term value delivery
Prepare documentation of procedures, processes, and product features, as necessary, to contribute to the overall knowledge base and understanding of the products you work on
Ensure the success of your products while achieving increased user satisfaction and growth
Bring innovation to bear on the company's products and their ability to serve customers and users
Evaluate partner/competitor activities for opportunity and context
Assist with training stakeholders, including Operations and Sales / Business Development, on new features and functionality
Participate in discovery processes, including market opportunities, user/customer research, and prototyping, to identify, evaluate, and define a value proposition, features, and functionality that are valuable, usable, and feasible
What are the requirements needed for this position?
Bachelor's degree
4 years of Condominium/Homeowners product management experience in developing and growing products
Experience in gathering detailed product requirements, planning, and developing products
Proven analytical & problem-solving experience
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and requirements, including the ability to juggle multiple priorities …
