Computer Imaging Technician

Salary/Position Classification

• $16.00 hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)
• 10-20 hours per week
• 100% Remote Work Availability: No
• Hybrid Work Availability (requires some time on campus): No

Purpose of Position

This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Image NEW personal computers (PCs) for UND employee use to include Dell laptops, desktops, and Apple Macbooks. - (Essential)
• Wipe and re-image USED personal computers for UND employees to include Dell laptops, desktops, and Apple Macbooks. - (Essential)
• Maintain the employee pick up area
• Update computer asset records within in the asset management database
• other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements

• Must be enrolled in at least 1 credit for the employed academic semester.
• Valid Driver's License
• Excellent interpersonal communication & customer service skills
• Ability to install software
• Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check

Preferred Qualifications

• An understanding of computer functions such as hardware dependencies and components.
• Operating System (OS) fluency, including Microsoft Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android.
• OS Installation and upgrade
• Assist end users with hardware setup
