The Opportunity
The Compenents and Programme Engineer works within the Engineering Department at Sizewell B Power Station. You will join a multi-skilled team of experienced and highly motivated engineers working in the Components and Programmes Engineering group. This group is responsible for Tech spec Surveillance Programmes and have responsibilities for items such as Transients, Equipment Qualification, In Service Inspection, Civil Inspection, Motor Operated Valves, In Service Testing, Equipment Reliability.
You will operate in a cross disciplinary role taking full ownership of their assigned plant systems and acquire in-depth knowledge of plant engineering and safety cases. You will be responsible for ensuring plant is operated, tested and maintained within its safety case envelope. This will include oversight and acting as the customer for new plant systems and replacement plant projects and in some cases where the plant is modified acting as the Responsible Engineer for plant modifications.
Pay, benefits and culture
