What We Do

Thoropass combines simple software with expert guidance to help SaaS companies manage security compliance, security audits, and enterprise procurement security diligence. Thoropass helps companies adopt stage-appropriate compliance practices that enterprises can trust and reduce the time and costs of security audits by 50% or more.

We are a rapidly expanding team based in New York. We were founded in May 2019 and raised our Series C funding in November 2022. Our top investors include J.P. Morgan, PayPal Ventures, Fin Capital, Centana, and Bain Capital. We're growing customers and revenue dramatically, and we’re poised for continued break-out growth in 2023 and beyond. 

The Problems You’ll Solve 

• Support the adoption of additional security frameworks into the Thoropass platform for customer use to become compliant and remain compliant
• Support the development of new frameworks within the Thoropass platform which includes the creation of roadmaps, controls, and actions required for customers to successfully implement frameworks
• Interface cross functionally throughout the organization to build upon existing frameworks and operations
• Evolve the existing compliance framework data models and relationships
• Develop and drive the customer journey for new frameworks
• Maintain an in depth understanding of Thoropass’ software platform and products, and identify opportunities to improve the platform
• Assist with new product development by suggesting features as well as surfacing customer feedback

About You

• Expert level understanding of the compliance space
• Exposure to the GRC space and general understanding of framework overlap and efficiencies
• Ability to learn and understand relationships between relational data sets
• Your hands on and don’t mind getting into the weeds of things
• Knowledge of compliance frameworks i.e. HIPAA, SOC 2, NIST-800-53, C5, CSA Star, Privacy (GDPR, CCPA, EU-U.S. DPF) and willingness to learn new frameworks
• Understanding of advanced cloud technologies (AWS, GCP, Azure) 
• Comfort interacting with customers
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
• Ability to address best practice information security questions in a clear and concise manner
• Possess a helpful and professional attitude with excellent verbal and written skills
• Strong sense of curiosity to solve problems

Bonus Points

• CISSP, CISA, CISM, or other equivalent technical certification (AWS Solutions Architect, etc). 

Your Compensation

• The salary range for this position is $110,000 - $140,000, which will be commensurate with experience
