We’re looking for a Compliance Manager (Testing & Audit) to work closely with our Compliance Team in the U.S. This is a brand new role reporting to our Head of Legal and Compliance.

We’re building a world-class, data-driven and tech-focused Compliance team as we grow, driving us toward our next fundraise and beyond. You’ll take the lead in managing the day-to-day testing, issue management, monitoring and audit functions of our Compliance program as we scale rapidly over the next 3-5 years.

Some of the things you'll get involved with:

  • Lead external audit and partner testing initiatives; manage documentation, communication and updates to bank partners in this area; 
  • Manage company state licensing applications through NMLS and lead license related and other regulatory examinations
  • Drive compliance oversight of action plans to ensure timely closure, in partnership with relevant internal stakeholders
  • Partner with internal stakeholders on cross functional issue management initiatives, working to identify, log and close out issues
  • As we scale, you’ll help us identify new opportunities to enhance compliance and protect the businesses from unreasonable risk

What are we looking for?

  • You have at least five years of work experience in consumer banking, payments or lending Testing/Audit  
  • You’re comfortable carving your path in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong familiarity with NMLS
  • You’re able and excited to conceive of and execute projects independently
  • You have the ability to quickly pick up new concepts, and dive into a problem with a solutions-oriented, outcome-focused mindset – even with no prior background in the subject matter
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical capabilities, and the ability to develop creative solutions for challenging, open-ended problems

  • You are located in the EST timezone
