About the role
This is a temporary, six-month position.
As the Compliance Manager, you’ll have the opportunity to work with stakeholders across the organization to support our culture of compliance. Reporting to the Vice President of Legal, you will drive the Two Chairs Compliance program to adhere with all relevant federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations. You will have a key role in defining and implementing compliance program infrastructure. You will direct operational projects to define or streamline processes and procedures, as needed. You will seek out creative solutions to operational challenges, manage competing priorities, and establish frameworks to set our teams up for success.
Core Areas of Responsibility
- Compliance (50%)
- Coordinate with Vice President of Legal and Compliance Operations Manager to support and maintain Two Chairs’ Compliance program infrastructure.
- Support investigation and remediation on compliance incidents and evaluate practices on an ongoing basis to identify areas of potential risk.
- Support work on the company’s annual company and risk initiatives
- Lead and support annual compliance and risk initiatives.
- Manage company compliance communication channels such as issue tracking system, internal company informational resource page, Compliance Committee meeting records, and updates for the CEO and Board.
- Remain current on compliance trends, providing recommended solutions within an ever-changing legal environment.
- Support compliance training initiatives
- Regulatory research and analysis
- Privacy (30%)
- Support the Vice President, Legal, and Compliance Operations Manager on privacy training in HIPAA and related state laws to inform employees on ethical and legal standards.
- Track and respond to privacy incidents
- Work with the Security Officer and technical team to create robust security protocols and safeguards.
- Clinical Support/Audits (20%)
- Support responses to payer and/or regulatory audits
- Act as a compliance liaison for medical records requests and subpoenas for records
- Manage and assist with ad hoc projects for HQ and Clinical operations teams as business requires.
Impact and Success Indicators
Where you’ll make an impact in the first 90 days:
- Learn Two Chairs business and fully understand compliance and privacy resources;
- Become a trusted compliance and privacy resource for Legal and Operations.
Where you’ll make an impact in the 6 months:
- Work independently to support clinical and business compliance and privacy initiatives.
- Fully support the day-to-day compliance processes, including complaints, privacy incidents, and audits.
- Make significant progress on the 2025 Compliance and Risk initiatives.
You’ll be successful if you have:
- 3 to 5 years of experience in healthcare compliance is a must
- Ability to initiate, develop, maintain, and review policies and procedures for the operation of a healthcare compliance program and other similar activities to prevent unethical, illegal, or improper conduct
- Experience with healthcare compliance evaluation and auditing to recommend and execute strategies to provide necessary solution(s)
- Experience maintaining compliance programs to comply with relationships with payors
- Supported payer audits and records management programs
- End-to-end project management experience, including from scoping to implementation and the ability to prioritize and perform multiple projects concurrently
- Experience supporting medication management or psychiatry business from a compliance perspective is a plus
- Experience with regulatory research and analysis, particularly in the behavioral health space
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional partners
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Certification in healthcare compliance, such as CCEP, CHC, CHC-F, CHRC, or a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) certification, or successful completion of a graduate certification program in healthcare compliance, is a plus.
- Strong working knowledge of Google Suite of products (Docs, Slides, etc.)
Compensation
The salary range for this temporary, exempt role is $111,300 to $130,800 annually. Placement in this range is based on qualifications and experience.
