Position Summary

The Compliance Investigator/Auditor works directly with Corporate Compliance and business unit leadership, as an integral member of MultiCare’s Compliance and Ethics Program, to assure compliance with federal and state law, rules, and regulations and with MultiCare’s policies and procedures. The Investigator/Auditor plans, executes and manages a variety of regulatory, investigative and audit-based projects; conducts research, performs root cause analysis, and produces corrective action plans; manages investigations for compliance-oriented subjects and regulatory matters for reported concerns; drafts and responds to regulatory inquiries with specific subjects with oversight from Corporate Compliance leadership; consults on organizational projects including policy development, required education, and risk-based training; fosters awareness of Corporate Compliance, and maintains current knowledge of applicable federal and state compliance laws, rules and regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer sciences, social sciences, legal, business, or clinical field
  • Masters’ Degree preferred
  • Five (5) years of healthcare experience required
  • Three (3) years of investigation, compliance or legal experience working w/state and federal regulatory agencies OR
  • An Associate Compliance Professional or Certified Compliance Professional or comparable designation required, or obtained within 12 months of placement in position; a JD will be accepted in lieu of certification
