This role is for a Global Anti-Bribery & Corruption (“ABC”) Analyst within the Financial Crimes Compliance team and will report to the Global ABC Compliance Senior Manager. The ABC Compliance team is responsible for implementing and executing Coinbase’s controls related to mitigating ABC risk, including requirements related to political contributions, lobbying, giving and receiving gifts, third party intermediaries, charitable donations, and other areas. The individual will assist with handling ABC advisory inquiries and will serve as an escalation point for questions related to ABC risk and Coinbase’s ABC program requirements. In addition, the role will assist with certain core ABC compliance activities, including those related to governance of the ABC Program and assisting on ABC related projects.

To be successful in this role you will need to be quick to learn the cryptocurrency business, have a proactive, enthusiastic and positive attitude, and have a strong knowledge of ABC compliance best practices.

What you’ll be doing (ie. job duties):

• Assist with handling routine advisory inquiries across different ABC risk areas and act as a point of escalation for questions related to ABC risk.
• Create ABC metrics and other reporting for senior management.
• Assist with executing the annual ABC risk assessment.
• Perform monitoring to ensure staff compliance with ABC requirements.
• Assist with ABC related projects, including the implementation of new ABC controls.
• Stay apprised of changes in the crypto ecosystem and the ABC regulatory environment, including regulatory rule making, guidance, and litigation.

What we look for in you (ie. job requirements):

• 2+ years of experience in a similar Compliance/Risk/Legal function or role.
• Working knowledge of ABC requirements, including familiarity with US federal, state, and local lobbying and political contribution rules.
• Well organized self-starter, adept at working autonomously and in an agile working environment.
• Highly collaborative and able to communicate effectively with varying audiences.
• Ability to synthesize complex information into concise summaries and recommendations.
• Committed to ongoing learning.

Nice to haves:

• Prior experience at a FinTech or a financial services firm.
• Foundational knowledge of the crypto ecosystem with a strong desire to learn more.

Pay Transparency Notice: Depending on your work location, the target annual salary for this position can range as detailed below. Full time offers from Coinbase also include target bonus + target equity + benefits (including medical, dental, vision and 401(k)).Pay Range: $83,300—$98,000 USD
