Compliance Analyst

United States - Remote

In this role the Compliance Analyst will assist the Chief Compliance Officer with the development, implementation, and administration of the TrustCommerce Compliance and Security Program.

Support Compliance and Security leadership in ensuring that all platforms of TrustCommerce supports and enables clients to comply with relevant industry and governmental standards.  Assist in assuring that internal operations of TrustCommerce complies with all applicable law, industry standards, card brand rules, and client commitments. Administer the compliance work stream relative to internal projects designed to enhance compliance or capabilities. Work with product teams to ensure that new products and features comply with relevant mandates. Assist with audits, compliance reviews, testing and remediation.  Design and implement training programs focused on compliance specific initiatives. Work with Compliance and Security Leadership to drive continuous improvement in TrustCommerce’ Compliance and Security operations.

Requirements

·       Understanding and interpreting card brand regulations, state and federal mandates, and industry standards to assist in product management, sales, marketing and other functions.

·       Contribute to the development, implementation, and dissemination of policies, procedures, and practices throughout the organization.

·       Assist in the facilitation of Risk Assessments and prepare assessment reports.

·       Conducts assurance activities, which may include on-site inspections/testing and interviews with multiple levels of management. Documents results for reporting to appropriate level of management.

·       Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on the TrustCommerce Compliance and Security Program.

·       Provide recommendations to team members as to how to comply with standards, laws, and guidelines, and the TrustCommerce Compliance and Security Program.

·       Other duties may be assigned.

 

 Environment/Conditions

This will be fully remote. Occasional site visits may be required.  

This is a full-time position. Monday to Friday.  Core office hours will be 8 hours within the range of hours.  Depending on assigned responsibilities or projects, some nights and weekends will be required.

Education and Experience:

·       Bachelor’s Degree or 4 years of experience in a related field (Payments, Compliance, Banking, Technology, Business, Financial Services).

Annual base salary gross: $55,000 - $70,000

The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high end of the Sphere salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and be based on various factors, such as candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and proficiency for the role. The base salary is one component of Sphere’s total compensation package for employees.
