The Compliance Analyst will be responsible for investigating and drafting responses to inquiries made by consumers, state regulatory agencies, and the BBB.  This position will also involve monitoring state insurance regulation changes and communicating with business partners to recommend and implement procedural changes across the organization to ensure business operations comply with changing requirements. The Compliance Analyst will coordinate with the Compliance Department members to ensure the Company’s compliance with state and federal insurance regulations.  The Compliance Analyst will assist with reviews of Company procedures and will track the required changes.

Job Responsibilities

  • Conducts research of insurance regulations; provides written analysis to compliance team.
  • Notifies Company personnel of regulatory changes, including written instructions for implementing the changes.
  • Assists with responses to consumer complaints.
  • Responds to regulatory inquiries regarding market conduct.
  • Reviews and updates the relevant Company policies, procedures and guidelines.
  • Revises Company filings to comply with new or revised state laws.
  • Develops and maintains reporting on compliance matters.
  • Maintains various organizational and reference spreadsheets as necessary.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Knowledge

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Insurance terminology
  • Insurance industry experience preferred
  • Personal computer and related software such as Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint

In accordance with pay transparency laws and regulations, the following good faith compensation range estimate is being provided.  The salary range for this position is $55,000 to $75,000 per year.  Final compensation will be based on candidate qualifications, geographic location, and other considerations permitted by law.
