FocusKPI is looking for a Community Events Program Lead to join our client, a high-tech SaaS company.

The team is seeking a passionate and experienced consultant who will help build the roadmap for our client’s offline communities and contribute to projects that help scale user-driven events globally. You will work in service of Community Leaders, who are the backbone of all things community. These are passionate client's product/tool users who volunteer their time to host local events in cities all around the world. They are enthusiastic about client's products and practices, provide guidance to other users, enjoy building connections, like solving complex problems with clients products, and are change-makers who drive the use of our products in all industries. Note: Community Events will remain primarily user-driven with Community Leaders hosting them. While you’ll be involved in some event planning, the primary focus of your role will be to serve as the owner of our Community Events program. Your main priorities will be to build and execute on strategy that enhances our Events program quality, expand our offerings, to serve as the business owner for platform improvements and contribute to organizational goals.

Work Location: Remote: anywhere in the US, highly preferred EST
Duration: 12 months
Pay Range: $40/hr to $52/hr

Responsibilities:

Onboarding:
  • Serve as the business owner for our Community Events Program
  • Build and execute on strategy to enhance our Community Events program quality, expand our offerings and contribute to organizational goals
  • Build respect & trust with our community, Leaders, internal/external teams, partners and vendors- Identify, monitor and report on program health metrics
  • Drive Community Events engagement & retention initiatives
  • Collaborate with the broader team to ensure Leader and member feedback is reflected in Community Events program initiatives, our platforms and vendor relationships.
  • Scope and pilot new Atlassian Community Events formats
  • Represent Community at customer-centric events
  • Support marketing & promotional strategies for Community Events
  • Lead communication flow across partner and stakeholder teams for program improvements 
  • Evangelize our Community Events program internally and drive internal enablement and engagement

Qualifications:
  • 3-5+ years of experience in Ambassador Programs/Community Program Manager roles where you managed, built and scaled community programs through events -
  • Deep understanding of community and how to engage members through events -
  • Proven experience owning complex programs and efficiently overseeing cross-team projects, with strong stakeholder management skills
  • Proven ability to develop, implement and improve new processes -
  • Adept at managing deadlines and ability to work collaboratively within distributed teams -
  • Strong communicator with excellent writing skills 
  • You’re energized by building relationships with a diverse group of people and attending user-driven events
  • Admired Qualifications (But not required):
  • Familiar with Bevy, Qualtrics and Tableau.
  • Experience working in Jira, Jira Service Desk, Confluence Cloud, and Trello .
