Arc implements its strategy through grantmaking and proprietary products and programs delivered by our in-house capability. 
 

About the opportunity 

As a Communications Intern, you will play a vital role in amplifying our message and supporting our communications initiatives. This is a unique opportunity to make a direct contribution to climate action and be part of a team of committed experts. 

Responsibilities

  • Writing, copy editing, proofing Arc content and materials, including website articles, social media posts, newsletter, emails, reports and other materials 
  • Support in setting up and publishing articles on the website  
  • Support in setting up and sending out Mailchimp campaigns 
  • Support in creating assets from existing templates for digital communications 
  • Support on social listening/ monitoring mentions of Arc  
  • Supporting on regular comms and engagement impact reporting and analytics 
  • Supporting the team in using brand templates, including Word and PPT 
  • Supporting the delivery of events, through event administration such as list and document management, the design of assets and PPT decks  
  • Providing CRM management support for strategic engagement  
  • Providing project management and administration support to communications and engagement workstreams 
  • Working with external agencies to deliver on the above  
  • And various other tasks as they arise!

What you should know

Your availability: Full time ideally. We are looking for candidates to start in August 2024, for a period of 6 months 

 

Requirements

  • Current enrolment in a relevant degree program (e.g. English, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism) or recent graduate. 
  • Excellent writing, copy editing, and proofreading skills. 
  • Familiarity with digital communications tools and platforms, ideally website CMS and Mailchimp. 
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. 
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel). 
  • Experience with social media platforms and analytics tools is a plus. 
  • Enthusiasm for climate finance and corporate transition initiatives.
