Communications and Engagement Coordinator
California - Hybrid/Remote, United States
The ideal candidate has experience managing an editorial calendar of communications to both internal employees and external customers. The position will be responsible for maintaining brand voice and tone in all communications, while striving to reach and communicate appropriately with all internal stakeholders. This position is currently hybrid and will be based in our Burbank office reporting to the Head of Marketing & Communications.
Responsibilities
The Communications Coordinator is accountable for:
Ensure internal communications are clear, accessible, and inclusive, reaching all employees effectively.
Draft and distribute leadership communications, including CXO updates, strategy announcements, and internal newsletters.
Create and distribute HR Lifecycle comms including iGrow, iPerform, Bonus (where applicable), ensuring employees understand expectations, deadlines, and career development opportunities.
Support and schedule quarterly Global Town Halls, coordinating logistics, content, and post-event communications.
Execute internal communications initiatives that keep employees informed, engaged, and aligned with company strategy.
Support the execution, analysis, and reporting of the 2025 Engagement Survey to ensure insights drive meaningful action and improve employee experience.
Support post-survey action planning communications, reinforcing the company’s commitment to improvement.
Support the design and build of 2025 Global Employee Engagement Survey
Assist in managing the survey rollout communications, ensuring timely execution and high participation.
Learn survey reporting & data analysis to analyze results and build actionable reports.
Build overall engagement survey reports for presentation to stakeholders.
Effectively work across departments, teams, and regions to enhance collaboration and support internal communications.
Build and maintain a strong relationship with Willis Towers Watson, leveraging their expertise for survey design and analysis.
Work with WTW to learn how to give access to HR teams and CXO to check survey reports directly.
Collaborate with department leads to align internal messaging with key business objectives and operational priorities
Partner with Global HR and L&D teams to align communications across Iyuno.
Collaborate with CXO to support leadership updates and change comms
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations or similar discipline is preferred; minimum one to two years of experience in an entertainment, public relations, agency or similar environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Strong interpersonal/verbal communication, writing and copy editing skills with excellent spelling, grammar, punctuation and an eye for small details
Experience with email marketing platforms, social media platforms, and other tools that help effectively execute our marketing and communications strategy
Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro), Canva or other design tools
Basic knowledge of design principles, brand style guides, fonts, layouts and image resize techniques
Knowledge of AP Style
